RICH AYBAR: RUBBERWORKS
New York, NY—TIWA Gallery is proud to present RUBBERWORKS, a solo exhibition by Dominican-American artist and designer Rich Aybar on view through October 8, 2025. Featuring over 20 sculptural lighting and furniture works, the exhibition explores the space between function and form. Cast in rubber and built from salvaged wood, bent metal, and copper wire, Aybar’s pieces shift between utility and presence, feeling minimal yet tactile, refined yet raw. Drawing on the layered history of rubber, RUBBERWORKS continues Aybar’s material-driven practice of reworking traditional forms into contemporary, sculptural objects.
